This new cabin was built with the remaining logs and brick foundation of what was the oldest standing structure in Charlotte County, VA. It was gifted by the King of England in 1745. The existing brick foundation became a new Cellar, with switch-back stairs leading up to the 1st & 2nd levels. The 7-front-facing 2nd-level windows are each encased as a dormer. There’s also an outdoor wood-burning fireplace facing the covered side porch.
